Any insider tips for Beirut?
We know the obvious attractions that are in every guidebook. But what are some hidden gems that only the locals know about?

Try Camping Amchit for a slightly different night out of the city. And a day in the sea.
There's also Atlas Beach in Jiyeh for a quiet, 'raw' beach (no pool, no music, cheap cover @ $10).
That's what I can think of for now. Ask me more at anytime and I'm sure I'll find something for you! over 9 years agoAnswered by Fares B viaAsk a Nomad iPad app
- We stayed three nights in Amchit. Cheapest beds in Byblos, and right by the sea. Amazing. Roberto & Bianca over 9 years ago

You should go for a walk at night in hamra street to enjoy the night life there, I can suggest a nice place to taste their signature burger - "Ferdinand" at the end of hamra street. over 9 years ago
