Can you recommend a good company to do Safari in Kenya and or Tanzania?
We want to go on Safari to the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and possibly the Serenegti soon. We are looking for a reputable company that can organize this and get us the best deals.

- Tanzania Odyssey out of London in the U.K. is very good. We just used them. Had a great safari experience in the Serengeti and other places in Tanzania. Bennet Alsher over 8 years ago

We used Mountianrock Safaris. Wonderful people. They employ Kenyan's, and everyone is friendly and very informed. Basically you plan your own trip, if you want or they do have their own trips. Our 20 day camping Safaris cost $2,250.00 US. over 7 years ago

I had a hard time finding a good reasonably priced safari operator so I thought that I would post a min-review of my safari experience with Kenya Rea Tours and Safaris on a couple of the travel sites.
I spent a great deal of time searching the web and corresponding with potential Kenya and Tanzania safari operators trying to find an operator that was both reasonably priced and willing to offer a flexible customized tour. Kenya Real Tours & Safaris (www.kenyarealsafaris.com) was among a small number of operators that meet these criteria and the only one which provided prompt responses my many questions.
The safari provided by Kenya Real Tours & Safaris exceeded my expectations. I chose to save as much money on accommodations as possible, so the accommodations were simple but comfortable, the food was excellent, the 4x4 vehicles were good, but most importantly the drivers/guides were excellent. The drivers were very knowledgeable about the parks we visited and were able quickly locate the best areas for viewing the animals. I would recommend Kenya Real Tours & Safaris to anyone interested in photography. The drivers were very patient, and accommodating. I would often have them reposition the vehicle several times in order to get the best possible angle for my pictures.
The parks I visited included: Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru,Tsavo East,Tsavo West, Mombasa, I am sure that there are operators that can provide more luxuries safaris, but if you are looking for a good value on a reasonably priced safari Kenya Real Tours & Safaris is a safe choice.

You should try jockytours - www.jockytours.com.
We had an absolutely wonderful time with them travelling through Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara. Minneh - the boss and Issac - our tour guide cum driver were amongst the most pleasant and helpful people we had come across.
They also arranged for our trip through Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
We were on a budget safari and the whole experience was much beyond our expectations. almost 6 years agoAnswered by wanderermusings viaWorldNomads.com

It was a fantastic experience and I recommend booking with
them directly rather than through the companies here in the UK (such as Gap Year Travel who stick on a massive cost mark up and it is unclear who actually gets that money). about 4 years agoAnswered by Natalie Winster viaTravellr.com
