Is it the younger generation that are more likely to have English?

What can you tell me about finding people who will speak it?

    English is widely spoken in Jordan. On the beaten track most young and middle age people will speak English.

    English is definitely widely spoken, especially in the main tourist areas. In smaller, much more remote areas, you may find English to be spoken, but not as fluently, but everyone will want to practice with you! over 9 years ago

    While in Jordan we found most people in the cities could speak English. People would come up to us on the street and say, "Welcome to Jordan."then they would walk away.
