I'm supposed to travel for business reasons but I'm very concerned on flying to Japan right now (as usual, at the other side of the world we only get the bad news).

Hi Ernesto - You have nothing to worry about. Hiroshima is at least 1000km away from Tokyo (which was moderately affected) and at least 1300km from Fukushima. There are always concerns with earthquakes in Japan, but that is part of the normal way of life. As far as radiation is concerned, there are very, very, very low levels of contamination occurring in some food products, most recently meats, but it is nothing to be concerned about as the levels are so low that they pose very, very little risk to humans. Life outside of Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures (where the worst of the March disaster hit) is exactly as normal.

(However, there may be some incidences of power conservation due to the reactor blast)
