Sally, I guess you mean in relation to the nuclear power plant incident?
here's a wrap of answers I've posted previously to similar questions:
apart from a spike around the 16th and 17th of March at the height of the crisis at the Fukushima plant, radiation levels in Tokyo have been near normal and well within the 'safe' limits. I recently saw some testing of the drinking water from Chiba (Tokyo) and the readings of radioactive material were ZERO.
Have a look at the daily radiation level readings taken by this independent source Tokyo Radiation Levels https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tokyo-Radiation-Levels/196845207013685
all foreign governments (UK, Australia, USA and others) who had previously declared Tokyo off-limits have now downgraded their warnings... basically clearing it for travel. .
in essence.... there's no very little reason to be concerned about the effects of the Fukushima power plant crisis in Tokyo. about 7 years ago
