I'm planning a trip to Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan for the last weeks of December, does anyone know the avg. temperature or if it's a bad idea to travel to Italy in those weeks due to the weather?

I was in Venice a couple of years ago at the beginning of December and we experienced biting wind and rain, high water and flooding in St Marks Square and light snow...all in about 5 days. over 8 years ago

Wunderground.com, search the city you want, and then click seasonal averages. Or you could Wikipedia everything and look at the climate chart.

Typically December temperatures are on par with mid Atlantic (united states). Highs around 50f 10c and lows in the 40s 5-10c. over 8 years ago
