Is it safe to go travel in Italy (Venice,Milan,Rome) in early November? I need some advice as I have already planned everything now.
From London I will fly to Venice and then take train to Milan and another train to Rome. Whole trip takes about 1 week.
In regard to what? Italy is a relatively safe destination, although the petty crim's are very well developed and skilled at getting their fingers on your wallet. Just need to take the usual precautions, wear a money belt (yuk - but essential), hang onto your credit card and don't lose sight of it, and if something/someone sounds too good to be true - it is.
If you mean the protests in Rome the other weekend.... they happen only rarely and are confined to particular locations. Stay away from any protests and it should be fine. over 6 years ago
