Travelling in Italy I was thinking about buying an italian sim card for my mobile. Which provider is the best?

I would consider trying a sim card that you can use when you travel regardless of destination?

You can now purchase them in the hostelworld travel store

If you are interested in just an italian sim then I would recommend Vodefone. They are probably the most common (at least in the north) and rates are pretty good.
To get one just walk into any vodafone shop you see over 11 years ago -

Now there is a pretty interesting tariff with Vodafone:
in Italy you have a flat rate for 2 € a day (just when you go online) and with the same setum, you can travel in 22 european countries for 6 € a day, 150 MB included.
You can buy this SIM-Card (also in micro format) in every Vodafone store in Italy or, if you want to have it delivered before departure and be ready to go when you arrive, you can order through www.saveonroaming.de over 9 years agoAnswered by Helmut viaTravellr.com
