Perugia is a very interesting, beautiful and majestic walled town. There are a lot of attractions but one of the nicest things is just wZndering through the narrow streets and akso along the edge of the walls of the town because the views are amazing!
My favourite place is the Piazza IV Novembre. A large, grand piazza used as a meeting place for tourists and locals. in the centre stands a beautiful fountain and it is flanked by the Duomo, and the Palazzothe dei Priory both of which are very imposing.
The Rocca Paolina , a fortress built over the buildings and houses destroyed by Pope Paul III. Is incredible! It is very eerie wandering round these deserted underground streets. Often there are art exhibitions present and sometimes historical plays are staged in this area. over 7 years ago
