
Travelling to Italy in Dec with our disabled 21 yo son (can walk but is unsteady). Any recommendations for accom and getting around.
Are the pavements to uneven and being winter too wet. Are we mad???

i just read a cool new book about staying in convents and monasteries, called good night and god bless, by trish clark. i am SURE that if you found a cool place to stay there, you'd learn a lot (not spend much, comparatively), and probably get lots of help.
