A friend of mine stayed at Romeo & Juliet hotel near the city centre. She had a great time and she said the hotel was great, but me, personally, preferred to go to Firenze, stay either at the Nil Hotel or Spagna Hotel (Nil is better, but Spagna is cheaper and closer to city center) and take a train to Verona to visit.p the places worth watching. Both Verona and Firenze are extraordinarily beautiful. Hope you have a great time.

Hi, probably is too late to answer, but I think I can be helpful to many other people after you. For sure the hotels indicated by Alex are very professional, beautiful and in a central position, if you prefer a different style of accommodation, maybe in historical buildings I suggest you Ca Vendramin and Letters to Juliet (holiday apartments) or b&b Delle Erbe that is situated in Piazza delle Erbe in am historical building of roman origins. Here the atmosphere is so fascinating and prices are probably better than those hotels indicated above. All these apartments and b&b are on a local booking website: www.apartmentsinverona.com over 8 years ago

I have stayed at Ambassador hotel many times for business, but it is in a perfect location right in the centre of Verona. Also does a nice breakfast. I would highly recommend. over 8 years ago
