Transferring at FCO?

about 9 years ago about Rome, Italy

I am arriving off a BA flight into Rome (from London) FCO at Terminal 3 and am transferring to a domestic flight in Terminal 1 to Catania. I will have no checked bags. How likely is it I will make the connection if I have 65 minutes? How far to walk between the terminals and I assume I might have some immigration/customs formalities??

The transfer between the terminals is walkable in less than 10 mins and immigration takes a minimal amount of time. I guess it will depend most on check in that can take a long time, depending on your airline. Security is also not usually a problem in my experience unless you're using terminal 2. If you are, check in in t2 but wander next door to t1 security where there are far more security channels- they all feed into the same terminal anyway.. I think its definitely doable barring delays. Good luck! about 9 years ago
