Rent a vespa instead of walking or using public transport: take her up the gianicolo hill from where you can enjoy some spectacular views of Rome..also, try going to Campo de' Fiori to have some pizza bianca and good ice cream. As far as nightlife is concerned take your girlfriend to the trastevere or testaccio areas.. Have a great time in the eternal city, hope this helped! over 8 years ago

Choose restaurants where nobody speaks english - best food and low prices. And a plus for you if you'll learn some Italian words before the trip. over 8 years ago

I know a terrific private tour guide..if you're interested..small, family operated..unbelievable few days we spent with Ivano..alittle$$...but SO worth every dime! Fyi..We took a day trip with him down the Amalfi Coast..AMAZING! His company is Driver Guide Service and make certain it's Ivano..and i have no affiliation with him or his company..i have just recommended him to several friends who have been extremely happy when they used his company. He made our trip FANTASTIC...and he's a really great guy..Hope this helps..and hope you get the chance to spend one day..if not two..with him.. over 8 years ago
