How straightforward is it to get from Rome's Fiumicino airport to the main Termini station by train? Our airplane lands at 930 pm.

I think this will answer your question - seems very easy.

Laura, I used the train back in 1999, it was very easy - just follow the signs. But keep an eye on your luggage, the train from the airport is notorious for bag snatchers and pickpockets.

Ciao Laura,
there is a direct train from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Railway Station every 30 minutes (starts at 8 and 38 of each hour)and in 32 minutes arrives at Termini.
There is another train (not direct) to Roma Tiburtina which stops at Roma Ostiense, Roma Trastevere and Roma Tuscolana, it depends on your destination in Rome. over 8 years agoAnswered by Sergio d'Alessandro viaWorldNomads.com

Hi Laura you got many options
Train: Direct train from Airport to Rome central's Station termini. The ticket costs eur 12.From there mmany bus to city center. If u tell me where you'd be staying i can be more accurate on buses
Train to Fara Sabina or Orte and get off at Rome Trastevere Station, from there many buses to the city center.
Taxi A taxy ride from regular metered taxi (they are white in colour and the taxi stall is just at the exit of terminal 3 at the airport...disregard anyone offering you a ride to city center. they are illegal and will charge u a fortune). A taxi ride to the city center has a fixed fare (tariffa unica) of 40 eurs. For any other info you might be needing please look at this link:
