    Yeah, Italy is one of the cheapest places to take a train in "western" Europe.
    If you pick Regionales that stop basically at every place (so they take longer) you won't pay much.
    Looking on the trenitalia site though there are only IC trains that will cost you 38€ and will stop in less places. The expensive EuroStar will be more like 50€ almost 10 years ago
