What to see and do, how much money?

almost 6 years ago about Italy

Going to Italy for 10 days, I am making a list of touristy areas to visit but also want some hidden gems. What should I include?

Probably staying in Rome, trying to decide if I want to explore a few cities or try to get them all in on this one trip. I do plan to come back just don't know when.

How much money should I bring to spend (please specify if your talking about dollars or euros)? I don't plan on buying a lot of souvenirs (I actually plan on not buying any, but ya never know). Mostly want money for food, sights, traveling, etc. (my pictures will be my real souvenirs.)

San merino, senigallia, Pompeii. In Rome you have to go to Castel de Angelo, and the basilica de Santa Maria degli Angelo.....amazing! almost 6 years ago

Oh, castel de Angelo is minimal, the basilica is free but with donations. You'll find some little eating treasures in the back streets of Rome. San merino is quite costly to eat, senigallia is variable. Try using hotels.com or some other site to source inexpensive accommodation. How much your budget is is entirely on your requirements but you can look online and check out prices. Have a look at a forum on trip advisor specialising in Italy/Rome. almost 6 years ago
