Ditto Matthew F. You don't have to wait at the large ticket boxes but go down the escalator and buy your ticket there. Do watch you bags though. I'm soooo careful, have different purses with everything zipped in over shoulder bags etc and my purse was stolen with all my cards and £'s. But, having said all that, thoroughly enjoyed Naples and Sorrento so have a great trip. You can get a bus back to the airport from Sorrento outside the train station for approx €10 each. almost 7 years ago

Here's everything you need to know about getting from Naples to Sorrento. Definitely heed the advice to watch your belongings along the way. I've been approached by everything from pickpockets to a guy who offered to sell me the machine gun he had under his jacket on the docks at Naples. While you're there, you might as well go to Capri. Take the excursion to see the "Blue Grotto" and the beautiful town. . it's well worth the time. Have a fun trip! almost 7 years ago

Don't bother going to Capri to see the Blue Grotto. It's a big tourist ripoff. It's run by the mafia. They cater first to whatever boat they see carrying Asians, as Asians are supposedly bigger tippers (especially when the row boat drivers threaten not to take them back to their ship). For the two minutes inside and the three boat fees (one way) it's a costly trip and you run the risk of falling to/from the row boat. If you're a smaller framed person the rowboat driver will squeeze another person in between the already tight space in order to make one less trip into the grotto. about 4 years ago
