You can get from northwestern Italy to southeastern France in a weekend but you would not have time for much more than travel. over 5 years ago

Jolene, is traveling by plane cheaper than land transportation from italy to france? I just want to buy macaroons and take pictures at the eiffel tower and louvre in particular. over 5 years ago

Definitely. But it also depends from where in Italy to determine how much time is spent in travel and where in France you are thinking of going. over 5 years ago

You will want to fly, driving, even from northern Italy to Paris would take a full day. If you are leaving from Rome, Venice, florence, you can take Ryan Air which can have cheap flights. Trains can be faster than cars depending on the schedules. over 5 years ago
