Hi travelers, im planning to travel through italy by eurorail. Currently my route is milan-verona-venice-florence-naples-rome, but a friend of mine suggested venice-verona-milan-florence-rome-naples. I need advice from a fellow traveller who have rode through this marvelous cities. Please help me and give me your advices. Thank you so much

How many days are you planning.? Rome could easily take 4-5 days, Florence 3 days, Venice 4 days. It's better to visit only a few cities than to run in and out for a day or so for a large number. over 8 years ago

I'd add Siena to your list, by the way. We took three weeks a few years ago and only went to Rome, Florence, Siena, and Sorrento (including Pompeii) and never felt bored. over 8 years ago

I'd add one piece of advice if you're thinking of Siena, which I loved. Don't take the train. It takes a long roundabout route. There's a bus that takes only half the time. Buy tickets at the tobacco shop across from the over 8 years ago
