I thought Capri was off Sorrento. Positano, if you'd call it a city, is well worth seeing. It's a gem with winding alleys, colourful houses and steep steps leading down to the beach. It's perched on a cliff.

As the afore mentioned person said Amalfi is the other one. The Amalfi coast isn't a metropolis, I doubt even Amalfi would rate the term of 'city'. almost 6 years ago

Can u spend all 3 nights in 1 city , say amalfi, and do day trips to another? Or should u stay in different cities each night? Thanks again! almost 6 years ago

There not cities, more like towns. Yes you could base yourself in Amalfi and do day trips. Try to get back before dark though, the Amalfi coast is a precarious stretch of road & it will be safer for you if you do. It's really up to you if you want one base for several nights which is less hassle or if you want the experience of staying in Positano. You could spend 1 there and then move on to Amalfi for 2 nights. almost 6 years ago

You could get around by bus or by boat. I would definitly stay in one place. It's a short distance between the places. almost 6 years ago
