    If you stay closer to coastal areas you will have milder weather. Still expect it to be cool and wet. over 6 years ago

    The nice thing about going in Feb would be that you won't have to fight your way through crowds of tourists, which is a definite plus! over 6 years ago

    Have friend in Florence now, unusually cold and windy. But not crowded. If it is only time you have, don't let weather stop you. It is a wonderful country. If you have other choice, Sept. Oct. or even early Nov. better. over 6 years ago

    This year is unusually cold there. We went two years ago in March and April - before Easter is less crowded and less expensive but weather is less dependable. I would wait until just before Easter - unless the cold continues.... over 6 years ago
