Try hotel Calton Capri, it's across the canal from st Lucia train terminal and down an alley (behind the fancy hotel) was €224 incl breakfast and taxes for 2 nights/2 people. For us was reasonably priced, nice and great service. B/fast is a big buffet so you can fill up for the day too! almost 9 years ago

Hotel Carlton Capri is a 5 minute walk from Santa Lucia Station. You are close to the Grand Canal where you can catch a Vaporetto (water bus) to Saint Mark's Square.

I stated using Airbnb four years ago and I won't use a hotel again. Like so many cities in Europe, there are ton's of apartments, studios, houses, flats for rent in Venice. I would rather have all the comforts of home (especially a fridge and a washer/dryer) and the space that comes with it. almost 6 years ago

I love staying at the Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo. 180€ for an upgraded room, close to water bus line, quiet neighborhood, breakfast included and an outdoor space to enjoy on the patio. Lovely owners too. almost 6 years ago
