I'd summarize few things: 1) Plan to stay not less than 3 full days at each of those cities. If possible, book 4 days for each city. 2) You won't need a car at all on those cities. 3) You can go by train from one city to the next one. 4) There are many things to do in each one of those cities: then, plan what would yo like to know and to do, in order to use your time more effectively. 5) Also include in your plan enough time for having a long lunch or dinner at typical italian restaurants. 6) In Rome, take the hop off hop on bus: it will help you in visiting the city in less time and at a less cost. 7) In Florence, don't miss the Piazzale Michelangelo: a great panoramic view! -you can get there by the local bus, very easy-. 8) In Venice, plan to spend time just walking and getting you lost!...
