You can't go wrong anywhere in Italy ... What are your interests? Food, art, shopping, outdoors ..... My advice is not to move around too much - pick a place and explore, perhaps with day trips nearby. Much more fun than rushing around to see the "top sites" then packing up and doing it all again. almost 7 years ago

Agree witu TavelEater, and builing on that, it will dpend also on where you will get into Italy. Anyway, from my point of view, the main places to take into account are: Rome, Florence, Venice. You might plan 10 memorable days visiting those 3 cities; it's very easy to get one fron another one by train. Enjoy Italy! almost 7 years ago

Then, definetely I'd spend those 10 days in 1) Venice, 2) Florence, and 3) Rome. 3 days in each city it would be perfect, and you have 1 more day for staying wherever you have liked more! Enjoy Italy! almost 7 years ago

Venice is beautiful as is firenze and Roma, I would also recommend a visit to Milan and Naples, all beautiful places but Venice would be my top priority. Hope this helps :) almost 7 years ago
