Is this just one of the regular downs in the relationship with Palestine or do you think this media hype is on the right track?

    Hello,
So far it seems more like a media hype than anything else.
Regardless even if the situation do turn more volatile the areas that wouldn't be safe are rather specific so a visit to Israel shouldn't be a problem. over 6 years ago

Been to Israel twice, 1997 and 2007. Both trips are memorable and never witnessed any trouble despite the perennial reports by international media of violence that has been happening since I was young... over 6 years ago

Yes! I agree! It is always " volatile" in here! According to who you ask or what you want to do. For example, if you want to go to surfer the Gaza coastline, I will suggest to change your mind! Just joking ok? over 6 years ago

We have been waiting 18 years for the right time to visit Israel. We are here now. Flew into Tel Aviv, rented a car with a GPS, a must, drove to Haifa, Tiberias, now at the Deed Sea. The GPS took us away from the Jordanian border on the 77 from Tiberias which wasn't necessary however the drive was very beautiful. We are on our way to Eliat, Jerusalem and back to Tel Aviv. Couldn't feel safer. :) over 6 years ago

Israel is a very safe place. The rumor that Israel is unsafe is definitely a media hype. There are IDF soldiers everywhere to protect the public in case anything happens. I have been to Israel six times and I am 19. There was only one time I was a little unsteady when someone left a back by a bus stop. The bomb squad came with a little robot and found out it was nothing.
I would strongly suggest traveling to Israel. It is one of the most fun places to be. over 6 years ago
