affordable is hard to come by in tel aviv. however theres this great hotel i found on HaYarkon which is right on the beach ..lusky suites. it's a bit more than a hostel but for the location (it is right on the beach) it is very affordable. i stayed there for about $100/night and if you're splitting it with a few friends it is great and comes out to cheaper than a hostel i think (hostels in tel aviv are nasty but if that's what you're into..).. not only is it right near the beach but it's less than 5 minutes walking distance to bograshov (shopping) and near king george, shenkin (shopping and shopping,) the market (Shuk HaCarmel), arts festival (nachalat binyamin), restaurants and the boardwalk. as for night life - wherever you are in tel aviv you are walking distance to night life. most things in tel aviv are walking distance. if you don't feel like walking it's a fairly cheap cab ride home. there are also other hotels within this price range also such as hotel deborah on ben yehuda. if you want affordable stay away from most of the hotels on hayarkon and along the beach (david intercontinental, crowne plaza, both sheratons etc. almost 12 years ago

I would recommend the Old Jaffa hostel, which is quite cool. Also, I know Allenby street is the spot of some of the cheapest accommodations... Tel aviv is pretty small, so even if your hotel isn't as central as you would like, it shouldn't be a problem getting around... almost 12 years ago

Check out airbnb.com Many choices, some sharing an apartment and some that offer complete privacy, at rates well below what hotels charge. over 9 years ago

    Hi Scott,

Tel Aviv has many places to stay in. Dead Sea area and Mitzpe Ramon are good places to live in where you can easily get reasonable price hotels like - http://www.shenkinhotel.com/?categoryId=93166 - shops, cafes and other things too .

I understand that our expectations from tour to enjoy every moment are very high. Many of us are looking for someone who is deeply rooted and strongly connected to the land, the people and the places. For that reason, you have to take a service of any tour guide, they know every route and historical landmarks, and including places you will not hear or read about as well. over 7 years ago
