The Vodafone shop in Clifden, Co Galway is gone. It was open last summer (2010), but gone this year. (Aug 2011) almost 7 years ago

I saw a lot of Voda phone shops during my trip a few weeks ago in Ireland..as for the IPad, I downloaded Skype, and the apartment/ hotel I stayed in had wireless. Phone calls on Skype are a few pennies/minute...way cheaper than the phone. Also, I have FaceTime on My Ipad2, so that enabled me to view my family as I talked to them as long as they have FaceTime, either on phone or Ipad2..you can also view on Skype, if you talk to the person on a computer..if you use Skype to call a cell or landline phone, you don't get an image, but it was still way cheaper than the phone..a lot of places offer wireless access, either for a small fee..or free! That's the first thing I search for when making my booking.. over 6 years ago
