    You should shop around on the car hire. Each has advantages and disadvantages. It also depends on where you are. For instance, Budget is the only car rental company with an office in city centre in Galway. If you want any of the others you need to go out to the airport.

    apart from the normal Hertz, Budget, Avis etc, there are a couple of other car hires that do not have their office at the airport and car work out a little cheaper such as Irish Car rental or Enterprise.

    I also often find it cheaper to prepay for car rental, often getting a good prepay deal.

    Please take note drivng is very dangerous ,narrow roads ,locals drive very fast, can be very stressful to the best of drivers. over 6 years ago
