    In Ireland, you can only pay in Euro as cash.
    However, you can always pay by your debit/credit card using either Euro or your own currency - USD.
    Finally, you can also exchange USD to EUR at an airport or at any bank. about 7 years ago

    You can also use your debit card in an ATM/cash machine to get local currency (double check with your bank for availability and fees). Also note that Northern Ireland's currency is British Pounds Sterling rather than Euros which are used in the Republic of Ireland. about 7 years ago
