    Depends on what you're used to! It's hilly, but Ireland tends to have hills, not mountains.

    Did it years ago & got a strong headwind against me which made it hard. You'll have to get there first. It's about a 6 to 10 mile easy cycle from Killarney. I'd recommend cycling one way & getting the boat to or from Ross's Castle the other. It's a much shorter cycle to the castle from Killarney. The boat journey is not to be missed but make sure one is available for you if you choose to cycle the Gap first. I reckon if you get a day with no wind or the wind behind you, you're laughing. almost 9 years ago
