    Yes, Bali is safe now for all type traveller, lots of international class of confrence will be held in Bali, so there will be extra security system apllied

    Just the usual drunks.... actually, probably not, Seminyak is the upmarket end of the south Bali tourist strip. You're more likely to bump into someone high on cocaine or ecstasy than Bintang (ie more likely to be hugged than punched).
    Despite being a very popular tourist zone crime rates are pretty low (as in all of Bali)..... but not FREE of petty crime. use common sense and you'll be okay. over 6 years ago

    Just stayed in Seminyak for a few days this week. Fairly safe, we've even walked in the back alleys. Most people are friendly but I agree with Phil, just exercise caution and use your common sense, you'll be alright! over 6 years ago

    Quite safe. I spent the night on the beach there. There are guards for all the hotels that are on constant look-out, so don't worry and have fun! over 6 years ago
