Depends what you want to do with your day. If you want to go shopping, or just hang out and eat at street vendors.
Daily budget should be about $20 without accommodation. And you might get change.
USD100 is approximately 1million Rupiah.
Without shopping for sarongs or getting your hair plaited, $100 should realistically last you a week! Here are some estimates of prices in larger places (not remote villages which are half the price) based on my time in Feb 2012.
Bottle of water $1
Breakfast for one $3
Bintang Beer $2
Nasi Goreng for lunch $5
Mei Goreng or Nasi Campur for dinner $5
Cocktail for after dinner $2
Coke for hangover $1
Wine and sunscreen was really expensive in Bali. So ditch the wine and take your own sunscreen from home. Oh, and also bring Panadol for the hangover or heat stroke. about 6 years ago
When i travel to Bali i live at a three star level if that makes sense. My budget is USD 90 per day for a week that covers comfy hotel, good food, sightseeing and some light shopping. I get my hotels at this sight as it has rooms from 30 per night http://www.search.ihotelthai.com/City/Bali.htm about 6 years agoAnswered by Julie Shaw via WorldNomads.com
Depends on what your personal budget is and what you enjoy doing. We try to carry only what we need with us and leave all others cards and cash in hotel safes! We eat at little warungs and go to markets and two of us spend £10 (IDR 144000) and we think food in these far outstrips the hotels! :)
Have fun! about 6 years agoAnswered by Linzeye via WorldNomads.com
