Mid year is the best time to go weather wise. It is always hot but in summer it is often raining as well. almost 11 years ago

Actually I would like to know first what kind of experience you want to have when you come to Indonesia and also which city that you want to go? There are a lot of explanations about each of them. If you want to go to Bali, of course it's better you should go in the mid year, because it's summer and a lot of festivals during that time. However if you want to have some traditional culture's experience (for example: in Yogyakarta - Central Java), there are many special dates that have been recommended. about 10 years ago

The best months are May through to September, but this last 12 months in Indonesia has been very wet throughout Indonesia on occasions during the so called 'dry season' because of the La Nina effect.
My next trip is planned from end April but not sure for how long as I have many things yet to consider before I make my final decsion.
