    Delhi? First time? Cab. Pay INSIDE at the far end of the terminal and get a receipt. Ignore everyone outside asking for more money or telling u that there is a surcharge. Your receipt will give u a car number- just get in, hold the receipt and only give it to the driver when dropped off at the destination. Last winter a ride to south Delhi was approx 450 rupees. $10 but worth it if ur new to India.

    Otherwise, the rail link should be open. Take it to the metro. U pay for how far your going so you'll need to know the stop in advance. Train isn't hard to figure out once your there. Takes over an hour to downtown. It's safe, but cramped. If ur a woman take advantage of the first, women only, cars. almost 9 years ago
