The weather in India in January
about 9 years ago about India
I am travelling to northern India (Delhi, Agra, Varanasi) in mid-January next year, and I have heard it can get quite cold there. Would anyone know as to how cold it gets? In terms of clothes, do I need to take a thick jacket and extra socks? Coming from South Africa, our winters are not as cold as other regions, so I don't exactely have a lot of heavy winter clothes.

Pack up while considering living in 5 to 15 degree Celsius
Obviously a thick jacket & socks are must. An extra pair will be more helpful :) about 9 years ago -
only gets cool in the night. if moving outdoors in evening and early morning then a jacket/jumper will be req. about 9 years ago
