    Skip it this year. The floods have ravaged the region and public resources are strained. Rescue ops and rebuilding are more important than tourism at this point - and you'll only end up seeing destruction and despair over 5 years ago

    Would like inform you guys there Haridwar & Rishikesh were not affected by floods. It is just 15% of the flood effected areas and rest of the parts of Uttarakhand are safe. It totally unhealthy do give a negative picture of the place. Kuben if you would like to visit this area please do let me know I would be help to you. I reside in Rishikesh about 5 years ago

    Haridwar is about 250 km from national capital Delhi, you can reach easily by road or by train. For the best accomodation in Haridwar, you would choose Hotel Ganga Darshan, La Casa and Hotel Aditya etc. about 5 years ago

    Yes Haridwar is about 250 km from New Delhi, you can go by as per your comfort. No problem is there Haridwar is a nice place. There every facility is available as per you are charging. As per my view you have to go and enjoy the tour. about 5 years ago
