Both very different cities! Depends what you mean by 'fun', but I'd say Bangkok is a bit more western, and more easy going. Mumbai is an all encompassing experience. about 6 years ago

Bangkok has a lot more to see. As much as I love India, I only spent one night in Mumbai and have never felt that I missed much.

If you're comparing cities, Bangkok wins hands down. If you're comparing countries, though, go to India! about 6 years ago

It depends on what are your preferences.... Mumbai is to be seen for its people, culture and history..... In India we call it the city of dreams and each person you will meet there will have a story that supports this argument.
However beware in case you do not like crowded places and running .... you might not like mumbai..

As for bangkok... I find it too commercialized and hollow....however in case you want to shop cheap you can surely visit bangkok about 6 years ago

For sure Bangkok, Mumbai and India as a whole is very filthy, there is garbage everywhere, the stench is overwhelming at times. The food is a F compared to Bangkok, where Indian food is even tastier. The police harass and check you for no reason in India. And if you are a female traveling alone or with a friend Mumbai certainly is really bad, lots of groping and touching, dont even think about going out after night. Bangkok complete opposite to Mumbai. People are also more please in BK, much more common sense. The poverty gets to be tough for the heart after a while because there beggers EVERYWHERE in india.
