Expect cold and maybe wet. Pack layers that can be recombined and added if need be. I had waterproof hiking boots and waterproof pants to pull on top of my jeans and was so glad I did. Enjoy! It's a beautiful country. Don't forget a swimsuit for hot springs and definitely snorkel in the fissure. almost 4 years ago

Definitely layers and some rain gear. It never gets warm there so layers are the key. Bring an extra pair of shoes in case one pair gets wet and don't forget your bathing suit! A dip in the hot springs is wonderful... Enjoy; we had a great time! almost 4 years ago

Definitely prepare for cold and wet, but dress in layers. All the museum, shops, and restaurants will be warm, so you want to be able to shed easily. And make sure you bring waterproof shoes you can walk in, because it's definitely a walking city. Such a gorgeous place - have fun!! almost 4 years ago
