The usual pickpocketing in crowded public places and on public transport, but there's very little violent crime in Hong Kong. The Wanchi bar district can get a bit unruly (drink spiking, drunks etc) but tell your kids to drink responsibly and be back at the hotel by midnight - no, I'm joking! Honkers is one of the safest destinations around, you'll have a great time. almost 7 years ago

Hong Kong is extremely safe. Like all tourist spots just keep your wallet and personnel belongings safe and you'll be fine. Having said that, Disneyland Hong Kong will rob you blind! Lol. almost 7 years ago

Extremely safe. Like most places around the world you just have to be vigilant with your personal belongings and don't do anything stupid like walk down a dark alley 3am in the morning. almost 7 years ago
