Hong Kong hotel recommendation?
Which hotels do you recommend in Hong Kong? I want to stay at a comfortable, unpretentious hotel that has everything I need.

I usually stay in the Charterhouse Hotel 209-219 Wanchai Road

Get a 'signature floor' (whatever that means) - but it's a great little place to stay at a reasonable price. over 10 years ago -
Wow. That's a big open question. How much do you want to spend? Where do you need to be? What do you need? You can't actually need everything a hotel may have to offer. Comfortable would narrow down the field to 4 or 5 star hotels. Try here - hope it helps: http://www.hotelclub.com/Hong-Kong/Hong-Kong-hotels/ over 10 years ago

My niece lives there now and gave us the following hotel recommendations (affordable but nice in a good location):

Try the chunking mansions. It is right on nathan road in kowloon. All the shopping you could need and within walking distance to the bird, fish, ladies and temple street markets. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal to cross over to hong kong island. over 9 years ago
