I can fly into either San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa. I just want to rent something that is economical.

    late to this one... renting a car isn't cheap ($800/week from the Tegucigalpa airport), and it can be a hassle with all the checkpoints. Flying is great if you're not used to so many military checkpoints... if you decide to get a car, make sure you get one that's a transmission you can handle and **without tinted windows**. Or you will get pulled over at every checkpoint. over 7 years ago
