I understand there aren't many roads in Greenland. Is hiring a sailing vessel an option - like a water caravan, maybe?

    I've never been myself but my Icelandic pal went last year. Massive island, but small population, so it's very difficult to find accommodation, book early, even their summer can be cold, and lots or areas a person can only get to by air, dogsled or by boat or kyak. Also if you didn't know their a colony of Denmark so brush up on ur Danish not everyone speaks English in remote areas. Some of the most breathtaking scenery though, worth the trouble and effort by far. about 9 years ago
