Me and my girlfriend want to visit some religious places in Greece. Do we need some special care with the clothes in these places?

Churches are normally ok, but be careful at monasteries. They often require women to wear a skirt, however covered up they may be in trousers. Don't worry though-wherever this is the case, you will find a collection of long skirts at the entrance, and your girlfriend can just step into one for the duration of the visit. over 6 years ago

The best place to go is Athos where all the monasteries are, you can stay as much as you want in monastery but you have to inform church in advance to book you for free a place. the bad is that girls are not allowed. over 6 years ago

Your girlfriend should bring a scarf to cover her head in monasteries and some churches. It is just a sign of respect, not usually mandatory. over 6 years ago
