Where to stay in Athens?
Spending one or two nights there in early October before flying home. Where should we stay and what should we see?

On a recent trip to Athens the CVA team and I checked out the AVA Hotel. Here we found a fabulous boutique Hotel situated at Plaka in the middle of the Historical Centre, at the foot of the Acropolis, on a quiet street near the most renown monuments of Greek Civilization: Parthenon, Zeus Temple, Hadrian Arch, Agora etc. The facility offers suites, space and luxury in a non smoking hotel atmosphere at good value pricing. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Greek Parliament, National Gardens, Syntagma Square, Ermou and Kolonaki, Athens exclusive Shopping areas.
Personally I believe vacations are to be No stress! I like to just relax and enjoy my stay, my time is valuable so I don't like to queue for tickets and waste valuable time that is why I stayed at AVA. They tool care of it and concierge service - their package allowed me to visit the Historic sites and the Acropolis museum, capture the memories and enjoy a Greek food tasting along the way. I booked the Athens Experience package and got everything I needed to create a great vacation!
Your package includes:
•A bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival (per room)
•Entrance tickets to all Historic sites: Acropolis with the Parthenon, Temple of Zeus, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Hadrian’s Library, Kerameikos
•Entrance ticket to the New Acropolis Museum
•Greek food tasting in a Mezedopoleio
