I want to go in Greece for summer holidayser holidays,to visit Hallkidi, Creta and Thessaloniki ,after crises is it a dangerous for tourists, is safe?Should I go or cancel this plann?

    Hi, the only places that are unsafe are the streets (usually in downtown Athens) when a demonstration is currently underway. Stay away from any protest and you'll be fine.
    Once you get to the islands you are very unlikely to encounter any protests anyway, they are almost all in Athens (and sometimes Thessalonika).
    The days of protest are well advertised in the media. Check the dates because often transport workers join the strike and it makes it difficult to get a cab, or a ferry.

    Agreed. I was just there in Spring of 2011. Other than protesting and some issues near the Parliament, it was fine and the people were amazing. over 8 years ago
