Budget - well, you can live there for 10 days and spend lots of money, or more or less nothing.... Two places to see would be Accra, then you would need to see Cape Coast - perhaps also take the trip up to Tamale - great trip through Ghana. For hotels, check this site : http://www.hotels.com.gh/ over 6 years ago

Accra is good on a budget cos there are lots of budget guest houses, a 2 day trip to the Cape Coast is a must try www.bigmilly.com which is on the Kokrobite beach owned by I think a French couple, very hobo but very cheap and a lot of fun. over 6 years ago

I wouldn't recommend staying in only one city for the entire duration. Accra must definitely feature though:-it's very cosmopolitan and has awesome night life. Cape coast with it's forts and castles and beaches with native boats is a must see too. Kumasi is also the place to go if interested in the culture and craft of Akans. In effect, I don't believe picking one hotel is a very good option. Pick the places you would like to go to, check out the options for accommodation and select the one to your liking and price range.
That said I hope you enjoy your time in Ghana...there's quite a lot to see and do if you have time and are ready for adventure. The Paga Crocodile Pond and the Indiana Jones look-alike canopy walkway at Kakum will be loads of fun. over 6 years ago
