There is so much to do and you should get a Lonely Planet or other travel guide; or use google. I stayed on the Kurfirstendamm (excuse spelling) and it's easy to travel around on public transport. Go further down to Freidrikschurch then KaWaDe department store, Don't miss the areas around Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, The Wall Museum, East Berlin restaurants and cafes, Potsdam Place, the art galleries. Take the train to Potsdam for a day. My spelling of these places is atrocious but I think you can figure them out. about 7 years ago

I would agree that the places mentioned by Marionmac are the "must-see" sites in Berlin. Except for Potsdam, most of these can be explored by foot in one day. You can include Checkpoint Charlie and some memorials to the Berlin Wall all within walking distance.. :) about 7 years ago

I highly recomend going to Tropical Island in berlin... You should google it and see how cool it is... Especially if you got bored from the cold and want to feel the heat a bit... Very nice place in berlin. about 7 years ago
