Just a little extra explanation. I would like to know where I could stay, without spending lots of money, so I could take a train or bus to the Oktober. Actually I will be with a rent car, but since I cant drive after drinking maybe it wouldnt be a good idea to drive to the Oktober Fest. Every suggestion is very very welcome. try couchsurfing.org for a place to stay and dbahn.de for the trains. it's a nuthouse around there most of september as you might expect. over 9 years ago

you can easy get around with public transport. almost from every corner of the city you can get around with the U-Bahn (Metro). During the Oktoberfest peak times the trains run every 5-10 mins. inexpensive accomodation during that time within the city might be difficult to get. try the couchsurfing.org, else you will need to pay from 100€/night for a hotelroom over 9 years ago
