I'll be travelling to Germany at Christmas and need to get from Gottingen to Munich.

    The best way is probably taking the train. The hourly ICE will take you there in 4 hours. However, you should buy your ticket as early as possible (Sparpreis from 49 Euro) because the regular fare will be about 100 Euro. Enjoy your stay in Göttingen! over 9 years ago

    Another way to do it if you are on a budget is to use a ridesharing website like http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de or http://www.mitfahrzentrale.de. Prices are generally much cheaper than the trains (although taking a car this far will obviously take longer than an IC or an ICE train!)
