I will recommend none of these, use the railway!

From the "Regionalbahnhof" (lowest level of airport terminal 1 and closer than any car rental company) train "S8" departs every half hour to "Haubtbahnhof, travelling time 12-15 minutes. Tickets from automats, about 5 EUR (equal to about 7.5 USD). From "Haubtbahnhof" there will be an "EC" train departure for "Müchen Hbf" at 0820, 1220, 1420, 1620 and 1820, travelling time about 3 hours 45 minutes. Reservations are to be done at phone +49-180-610-1111. In addition to the "EC" train there will be "RE" trains. Using "RE" you'll have to change at least twice (Würzburg and Nürnnberg) and minimum travelling time will be 5 hours 45 minutes. An "EC" ticket is about 90 EUR/135 USD, an "RE" ticket about 70 EUR/105 USD.

By road travelling distance will be about 440 km (275 miles) and very often some queue, så expect 5-6 hours. about 4 years ago

The train is much quicker than car. Flying is ok since you would already be at the airport but will probably cost more. about 4 years ago
